While Pinterest was initially known for being the go-to app for browsing home decor ideas and cooking recipes, the platform has come a long way and is no longer just a place to save content to Pinterest boards. In reality, there is so much more to it than that, especially for businesses.
Still, only 28% of all marketers worldwide use Pinterest to market, after Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter and YouTube. So, with all the hype surrounding this social media channel, why aren’t more brands and people utilizing this marketing gold mine?
A post recommended for me on Quora inspired this blog. It was just what I’d needed after the long day I had. It is funny how things appear to you in the darkest of times.
The post is one you have probably seen pop up on Facebook before. If not, here is the photo and the text below it.
Non-fungible tokens (NFTs) are one of the most popular topics going around in the crypto arena. Aside from Dogecoin, for the part few months, the craze surrounding NFTs was all that people talked about.
Just a quick definition of what exactly NFTs are. An NFT or non-fungible token is “a digital asset that represents real-world objects like art, music, in-game items and videos.” The reason it is called ‘non-fungible’ is that it is unique and cannot be traded for something else. For instance, a bitcoin or Ethereum is fungible, which means if you trade one bitcoin for another, you will…
We all have negative feelings. I know I feel them quite often and, in fact, I go to therapy to rid myself off of the anxieties and the anger I keep inside. But what if these emotions can be channeled into great things instead?
I came across a video by Anna Akana that first piqued my interests in this concept. Upon more digging, I found this to be much wider than I had initially thought. Why haven’t I been aware of the silver linings, the positive aspects of negative emotions?
We are human. We cannot fully rid ourselves of situations…
We’ve all had those days. You spend hours on an article, only to submit it or hand it to your boss for review, and it gets rejected.
It stings. Trust me, I know how that feels. As a full-time writer for over 4 years, I’ve heard my fair share of no’s.
More often than not, before clicking the ‘submit’ or ‘send’ button, we have a feeling that the blog it was not good enough. We know that the article is missing an important piece. You just cannot quite put your finger on it.
Let’s break down why a blog might…
A lot of articles about Cardano have been circling the Internet following Tesla’s withdrawal from accepting bitcoin for its vehicle purchases. This is due to the large carbon footprint of digitally mining for bitcoin (as cited by Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla), and Cardano, on the other hand, has been described as “the most environmentally sustainable” cryptocurrency.
So, with all the articles that have been written about Cardano and its potential, here’s what I have to say about it.
First and foremost, I have to make one thing clear. We don’t know for sure if prices would go up or…
This is a personal article for me. I am a content writer. I have been a full-time writer for two other companies before my current one. Twice, I worked under the marketing department and, once, I worked in a marketing agency. This is what I learned from my observations and findings.
Hard sell will not attract the general public
“Mention the brand name in the title.”
“Tell people about the benefits we are offering them.”
“Add a call-to-action in the intro. Add another one in the body and conclusion.”
These are things I have heard far too often from my…
Subreddits, Quora Spaces, and blog posts are full of suggestions on how to profit off of the crypto market but that is easier said than done. Advice like “buy the dip” alone does not do much to help. There are a number of things you can do as a trader to make more calculated and informed decisions to perform better than others.
One way to do this is by keeping up with the trends in a positive way and staying alert when the trend is about to reverse. …
Ethereum, often referred to as the second-largest cryptocurrency after Bitcoin, has been stealing the spotlight in recent weeks, reaching a record high in May. It was up more than 450% since 2021 began.
Of course, when you look at how Dogecoin went up more than 11,000%, this number may seem microscopic in comparison. But it is not, especially to the crypto investors who view Dogecoin as a mere joke incited by Redditors.
If you would like to understand more about what differentiates Ethereum and Bitcoin, read on.
Just to cover the basics, it is important to understand the background and…
While hard skills are great, you definitely do not want to sleep on your soft skills development! Here’s what you need to thrive after COVID-19…
When we think of taking a course for our self-development, often hard (technical) skills sound good. To learn to design a website, to master data analysis, to be fluent in the Japanese language.
While I was casually browsing a World Economic Forum Report, it hit me (and, yes, browsing reports is one part, albeit a small one, of my responsibilities as a content writer). It hit me that soft skills are where the value lies.
